What you need to know

It’s great to be back! The annual Sevenoaks Roundtable Charity Fireworks is returning to the SEVENOAKS SCHOOL SPORTS FIELDS  on SATURDAY 5th NOVEMBER

As usual, our show will be a FULLY CHOREOGRAPHED Fireworks display by the aware winning team at PHOENIX FIREWORKS. This year we promise will be BIGGER & BETTER than ever before…

The Sevenoaks Lions will be selling food and hot and beverages up on the site and all have been asked to provide cash and card payments.

Please see our FAQs below for more information about this event.

FAQS

What time does the event start?
Activities will start from 5pm on the High Street with food and funfair rides. The torchlit procession will start from 6pm at the top of the High Street intersection. Gates to the event will open at 6pm, with the fireworks being set off shortly after 6:45pm. This will allow time for everyone to arrive safely and for those participating in the torchlit procession, time to make their way through to the bonfire on the field.

Can I buy a ticket on the gate?
Tickets can be purchased on the day on the high street and en route to the Dukes Meadow entrance but we strongly recommend completing your booking before you arrive at the event. This is because we need to restrict the number of tickets available this year due to capacity limits on site and also to speed up entry to the event.

Do I need to print my tickets?
Please do not print your e-ticket to save paper and for contactless ticket checking. We will be scanning the QR codes on your e-tickets directly off your phone at the gate so if you’ve bought an e-ticket, make sure your phone is charged so we can scan it from your email. Please ensure that your QR code is visible on your device and contact us ahead of the event in case of any issues.

Where is my QR Code?
QR Codes should be visible on your ticket that you received from us by email. We also now include the ticket as a PDF attachment and either of these can be presented to our scanning team at the gate. Please note we are aware of an issue with some Apple iPhone devices where QR codes are not displaying properly when using the built in Mail application. In this case you should simply open the PDF attachment and have this ready for scanning when you reach the gate.

We will be proactively re-sending tickets for any users who did not receive a PDF ticket, but if you do not receive a PDF ticket then please contact us ahead of the event day and we will reissue it for you.

Do I need to book a children’s ticket?
Children aged 5-15 inclusive will require a child ticket. However, under 5’s can attend the event for free and do not require a ticket.

Can I bring alcohol on site?
This is a family event and no alcohol is permitted anywhere on the Sevenoaks School campus.

Can I smoke or vape on site?
This is a family event and smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere on the Sevenoaks School campus.

Will there be food and drink?
On the Sevenoaks High Street there will be several excellent options available selling food and beverages. At the event on the field the Lions will be selling burgers, sausages and hot (non alcoholic) drinks. All have been requested to offer cash and card payments.

Can I bring in sparklers or any other fireworks?
No. Sparklers and fireworks are definitely not permitted to be brought into the event for safety reasons. This is a requirement of the local authority license. Stewards/security will confront offenders and confiscate any seen, these are non returnable. Repeat offenders may be subject to ejection.

Are there toilets?
Yes, several toilets including accessible toilets will be available.

Do I need to socially distance at the venue?
As per current government guidelines you are not required to socially distance at the event. We have additionally expanded the viewing area for this year.

I have bought tickets but I am unable to attend. What is your refund policy?
As this is a charity event, unfortunately we are not able to offer refunds if you are unable to attend.

Do I need to wear a face covering?
As per Government guidelines, you are currently not required to wear a face covering at the event, but you are welcome to do so if this makes you feel more comfortable.

What if I or one of my group test positive for COVID-19?
You should not attend if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are required to self isolate. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if this occurs so suggest you pass your ticket on to someone else.
